The house is truly beautiful and very special--it's large, homey and filled with wonderful art and antiques. The pool and garden are lovely and Isabel, the owner lives right on the property and couldn't have been a more friendly, knowledgable host. The house is easy to find, right on the main road (although the narrow entrance/exit can be a little daunting the first few times!) Fantastic beaches are close by and there is excellent seafood in Sesimbra. We enjoyed it a lot!

My friends and I were looking for accommodations in a place that reflected the culture and history of Portugal but yet offered all the conveniences of being close to Lisbon, near the beach, restaurants, local culture and a private pool. Quinta das Flores was the place. The furnishings and tile work throughout the house are magnificent. I sincerely recommend this lovely home to anyone wanting to experience real Portuguese culture with access to many other facets Portugal has to offer.

The house is very nice inside and very big, with several bedrooms and bathrooms it is perfect for larger families or large pack of friends. It is located near the ocean shore in Sesimbra. Lisbon is accessible within 30 mins of car driving, which is not much considering that living there you dont feel the presence of big city. We passed 5 wonderful days there and I stronlgy reccommend the location to anyone who searches some more comfort and privacy than a hotel can provide.
