Appartement pour 4-7 personnes à 100 m de la plage

We have recently returned from our 22-day vacation at Isabella &Asterio's apartment and still overwhelmed with happiness, joy and sweetest memories. First of all I would like to thank this lovely couple for all the arrangements prior to our visit and being so flexible as we had to change the dates several times and Isabella and Asterio were really patient and understanding :) All the formalities were arrange in the simplest ways and the owners provided us with all the information on the place and area when we kept on getting back to them with various questions. The apartment is very clean and cozy and represents the typical Mediterranean countryside style. The pictures on this site are a bit out of date and the reality indeed exceeds the expectations. It was our first experience of renting a summer house for our family holidays and it couldn’t be compared to any great vacation at some 5* hotel :) For a start I would say that the location is the ideal for a family vacation with children. The apartment is ideally located in 3 min walk to the perfect beach with no deep water for about 50m from the shore so your children can safely play in the crystal clean water or jump on the waves if stormy with just limited supervision ;) White clean sand, not crowded beach (as it was mentioned in the previous comment), decent neighbors and just absolutely pleasant surroundings. It was really nice to realize that the apartment is actually a small villa or bungalow (well in our places at least we’d call it that way). The place seems tiny on the pictures but in reality got plenty of space and has wonderful character/atmosphere making you feel at your own summer house. There is a comfortable lounge when you enter shared by to zones: the diner and the living room. Just off the door you will find a tiny kitchen perfectly equipped with all you need though never try to occupy it with 2 ppl at once it, one person should be cooking :) Also on the ground floor there is a WC equipped with washing machine. On the second floor you will have 2 bedrooms: one with king bed, another with 2 single beds. I stayed in the latter with the child and had absolutely baby sleep night by night as well as my son. It is important to mention that all the windows are supplied with mosquito net so taking into account the house is located close to the water and in a very green area mosquitos didn’t disturb us at all. There are 2 gardens in front and backyard. The one in front has a cold shower (for the brave ones) and the place to wash your feet before you enter the house what is really comfortable as you don’t have to bother when leaving the beach. The backyard garden is the perfect place for meals, has big white comfortable table for 6 persons placed in the shade of huge blue umbrella. Still can’t forget our idyllic dinners listening to the live piano performed by some neighbors in the distance (there was some musician practicing classics several hours a day and it definitely added charm to our gorgeous meals with gorgeous local wine). On top of great and simple facilities another advantage of the place is the private parking which you may take advantage of. Especially it is precious if you rent a car so you don’t have to worry a thing as well as the parking fees in Italy is a rip off so it does save you a fortune. To say a few complements to location in general it is a must to mention the beautiful mountain right next to this place separating Sabaudia from a lovely old town of San Felice Circeo where you should definitely go to explore the beauties of a medieval old town. The National Park of Circeo occupies the huge area around and you can enjoy the walks, bird watching and some archeological sights as well as the beauties of the lakes Sabaudia and Lago (if I remember it right :)) Another handy location for walks and visits is Teraccina however keep in mind it is really crowded with tourists as a popular mass travel destination thought the old town on the top of the hill is absolutely gorgeous especially by the night. It wouldn’t take you lounge than 1,5 hours to get Rome or Naples by car. You should definitely visit Gaeta located about an hour drive from Sabaudia – the beautiful old town reminding me of Monaco in some ways but with much more brighter historical heritage and unique medieval architecture. The owners are just the loveliest people on earth and I already recommended their place to my best friends as well as considering spending another summer holidays with my family there.
