We had the most fantastic holiday at the quinta da saudade. It is an oasis. The quinta itself is set on a hillside of orange trees with beautifully kept gardens. There are two good sized pools, one for families and the other one is peaceful with lovely views out to the sea beyond. The villa itself is very large and has been decorated in a very charming and portuguese style, but incredibly comfortable. We have always found the beds in portugal to be quite uncomfortable but we slept like babies. There is air-conditioning which meant that we slept well too. The house is well-equipped and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. We used the barbecue alot and used the garden every day. There are some beautiful plants and it was just bliss. We can't recommend the villa more. It really was fantastic and we will be returning again very soon

Redonda is set apart from the small cluster of villas on the Quinta. The villa expresses an air of tranquility and individuality with a circular lounge and a circular bedroom connected by a hallway . Lounge French doors open to a private garden which benefits from numerous places to take in the sun or eat alfresco. Redondo is furnished with personality and feels unique in its ambiance and remains our favourite retreat in Europe.

Casa Redonda is a beautiful villa, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you would ever need for a relaxing holiday. The villa has a very private garden which is a real sun trap with sunbeds and a BBQ. A short drive to several stunning beaches with restaurants. The Quinta itself is an oasis of peace and quiet with an excellent restaurant serving delicious and quality food by a friendly and welcoming staff. We have returned to the Quinta every year since we first discovered it and I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Redonda.

We had a lovely relaxed time at quinta de saudade. The villa was perfect for what we had planned (sunshine, peace and quiet and relaxation) and is perfectly equipped if you don't feel like doing much. The restaurant is very close and the staff are so friendly, an ideal place for a meal or just a few drinks. The garden is amazing and so private, an absolute find for a one bedroom villa, if you are looking for peace, quiet, privacy then this is the place for you. As we visited early in the season we did not use the facilities that much but there is loads to do and you are within easy reach of shops/beach/entertainment etc. A car is essential if you want to get about a bit but the local taxi service can be used if you don't want to take a car. This certainly is a holiday destination i will return to and would highly recommend

We first visited this villa in 2013 and have been back each year since. It is most unusual to find a one-bedroomed villa and this one is superb. The villa is very comfortable and without doubt it is one of the best equipped self catering villas we have ever stayed in. The garden is amazing - it must be over 30 metres long and filled with a super array of plants. It runs east to west and so you can find full sun or cooling shade at all times of the day followed by some stunning sunsets - perfect for chilling out. We do enjoy this region of the algarve - stunning beaches, literally just 3 or 4 minutes in the car, a couple of very good supermarkets with some very nice restaurants in gale. Melanie has made some improvements to the villa early this year and we can't wait to try them out. We've no doubts about an enhanced experience

We have enjoyed many holidays over the years at the quinta, the villas are beautiful, gardens & pools amazing. Lovely pool bar, delicious food in the restaurant but above all we must give a huge special mention to melanie, who over the years has listened to out families changing requirements and has always found us the perfect villa, her patience and experience is outstanding, it’s so rare these days to get such a personal customer service
